Club Officials
Club officials comprise a dedicated group of adults, some of which have been involved with the club since its inception and parents of existing members who undertake the majority of the coaching and managerial roles.
The club ensures that all officers’ credentials comply with the policies stipulated by Government Legislation and those Associations to which the club affiliates. These policies include Child Protection, Equal Opportunities, Anti-Discrimination, Codes of Conduct.
To assume the role of an Officer, the individual, as a minimum must hold a current CRB, Emergency Aid and Child Protection course certificate, other current certificates eg for coaching, etc, must be in accordance with those Associations to which the club affiliates.
The club always strives to ensure the welfare of its members, particularly those under the age of eighteen is paramount in all respects.
Welfare Officer
The club has a Welfare Officer to whom any Member or Honorary Member can express a concern relating to any form of abuse.
The Welfare Officer is bound by a strict code of practice including strict confidentiality and has access to Government approved bodies who can provide specialised advice/assistance in addressing the issue at hand. Unless sanctioned by said bodies the Welfare Officer cannot divulge any information relating to the complaint to other third parties, including members and officers of the Club.
